Working with animal guides and animal spirit is so healing and illuminating. The energy, medicine and lessons animal spirits can teach us is so sacred and such a blessing.
Often we can have animal guides similar to any other spirit guide, in that they can be with us during our whole human experience or come in as a guide for particular parts of our lives and lessons we may need a wise teacher for.
As shadow guides, animal spirit can be a great teacher. I often will encourage clients to explore any animals they have a fear of or may look down upon, perhaps even think is less than them and what about that animals natures is something they may repress/reject about themself, fear about themself or feel shame for.
Animal spirit can remind us of our instinctive and pure psychic energy. Of our primal ways. Of survival. Of belonging to a greater collective. Of authentic being. Of our deep connect to Mother Earth.
