Time for look #2! If you didn’t check out my last blog post you can peep it here: http://bit.ly/2giZvlq
I am taking this velvet pant set from Dezzal and styling it two ways to create unique holiday party outfits.
This look is more fun and funky. I focused again on accessories and a hair change.
I wanted the top to be completely off the shoulder, which is a big trend that went from summer into fall. This keeps my upper body from being consumed by all the black velvet. This was important for how I styled the lower half of the look.
I put my hair in a high ponytail to elongated my neck. I chose a very thin delicate gold choker necklace and added a festive pop of red with the earrings. I love the bead work in these earrings. They feel festive without looking too cliche and cheesy.
I decided to keep the bright hues going with my shoes and tights.
These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I love the happy yellow hue. Tassels are a very popular accent detail. I love the lace up design and chunky heel to make it easy to dance and walk in. I layered a pair of purple fishnet tights under it. The subtle pop of color and texture is definitely eye catching.
I rounded the whole look off with the same clutch from my first look. Showing you how a subtle pop of animal print works with so many outfits.
